Thanks to my awesome sister for the Vinyl tree and birds, She found them for like $1.oo and I was going to spend about $99.00 more than that! Thanks Tia for helping me get it on the wall and bringing it all together. If I can get the laundry done, maybe I will get a full room picture. lol

Great Grandma Woolsey

Got some sad news about my Grandma Woolsey last week so we planned a trip to go visit. We thought we were going to have to go to SLC, but only had to go to Beaver! I'm excited to have her closer and we are planning on making many trips over to spend time with Grandma :) Here she is meeting Ava for the first time and Logan came along with us too.

Laughing and Playing

Since we've had Ava, Dan has been looking for Engineering jobs. I love my job here, but if he gets a better job, we can get a bigger place and I could work less and see my baby and husband more, and Dan could be much happier too! We're excited to see what the future has to offer :)

Last night I was rocking Ava to sleep, and she looked up at me and smiled, I smiled back and we started laughing back and fourth for about 5 minutes! Best moment ever! I love her little laugh, its soooo cute and her gummer baby smile!

Right now Dan is snoring next to me in bed cuddling Ava, who is thinking about going to sleep too. I can't help but love my life in this moment :)

Catching up...

Dan and I welcomed Ava Marie Reid on November 28, 2011 at 6 lbs 5 oz and 18.5 inches long. She is now 3 Months old and growing like a weed! She has light red hair and looks just like her dad. I got to stay home with her for her first 6 weeks and I loved it! I am back to work now and I sure do miss my little baby, although sometimes I am glad for the break.
Dan is such a great Daddy! He loves to hold Ava on his chest while she sleeps and she stays with her Daddy at home while I'm working. I think that Ava has her daddy wrapped around her little finger!

I am so ready for the warm weather!!! I am making fun a priority this summer! I vow to spend my summer reading, fishing, swimming, boating, 4 wheeling, hiking,(short hikes!) and getting into shape. Maybe even buy a bike and go biking as well! I always seem to stay indoors feeling the cool ac every summer and I am ready to break free and enjoy the fresh air. No vacations for us this year so I am going to try to make the best of it here!!!

It's My Birthday!

So Saturday was my birthday, and I actually started celebrating Friday! We always get a cake at work! German Chocolate, and My Hubby took me out to dinner at Ninja. The food was great and the hibatchi table was a lot of fun. I told the couple sitting next to us that we were there to celebrate my birthday, and the waiter must have heard me because he stuck his head aroud the corner and asked,"its your birthday?" Anyway so they brought me a weird banana split thing, and made the other guest's at the table sing Happy Birthday. They tven lit a candle, a loan candle that Dan had to blow out because I tried twice and nothing! I thought for sure it was a trick candle. (it wasn't)!
Saturday was pretty good too. I had a meeting at work first thing so that was a downer, but I found a great chair for bridal pictures at a yard sale when I was taking Bonnie home and It's great, just needs a little cleaning!
I met my Parents and 2 of my sisters for lunch, and my parents gave me a great cookbook and one of those brown sugar bears. My sister is on that crazy HGC Diet, so she could bearly eat, but we had fun anyway. They did make the waiters sing Happy Birthday, and we shared my free ice cream sunday.
Saturday night we went to my mother in laws and she made me sweet n' sour pork for dinner and I got another piece of german chocolate cake too! Karen gave me a very pretty wallet to go with the purse I want, and Tia gave me work out pants, and a new book to get into. "The Outlander", I'm pretty excited, she has been telling me about them and I have been waiting to borrow hers, so yea for me. We played poker (texas hold'em) after cake and I thought I was doing pretty good, but only got 3rd in the end. I realized when we got home though that I wasn't feeling too well anymore, but it's been a great 2 days!

Zak-O Weekend

Saturday, Z and me played at the park's all day long, we went to the school playground before lunch and to Discovery Park after lunch. My other nephew Trevor came over and had a water fight with us before we left for the car show, where Z was so tired and practically sleeping on Dan's Shoulders! Before we left we all got snow cones and headed for grandma's house to eat snow cones and play with sparklers! (Z was quite awake after his snow cone) and ran around like a wild man.

Memorial Day at Millers Canyon

Well we made it to the Middle of Nowhere!!! We packed up early...after stopping at the store for the couple things I missed...oops. We were on the road to Nowhere at about 8am and we arrived around 11. It wasn't long before we were on the 4 wheeler cruisin in the dirt for a short ride.
Well the truck is back! Dan and help from the usual crew put the truck back in working order. After a super fun day at the lake... a month or so ago, on our way home Dan's beloved truck broke down and we had to call in the troops to come save our behinds. Thanks everyone! I was just so damn happy it wasn't snowing and I wasn't freezing my patoot off like the last time it gave out on us!!! Anyway we just chilled in the boat after we figured we were beyond our own measures, drank some pepsi's. Dan was pretty upset but did extreemely well given the situation! Thanks for keeping your cool babes!
